Injective partners with BDACS to integrate Korean won stablecoin

Korean won stablecoin — The Injective blockchain has partnered with BDACS, a South Korean digital asset custody and settlement firm, to bring a regulated Korean won (KRW) stablecoin to its real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem.
The collaboration aims to integrate the KRW-pegged stablecoin directly into Injective’s DeFi protocols and RWA infrastructure. This move is designed to provide a compliant, fiat-backed digital asset for users and developers operating within the Injective network.
The partnership is timed to align with ongoing regulatory developments in South Korea, where authorities are working to establish a formal legal framework for won-denominated stablecoins. BDACS is positioned as a regulated entity within this evolving landscape.
By facilitating access to a regulated KRW stablecoin, Injective seeks to expand its RWA offerings and enhance liquidity options for its decentralized applications, potentially attracting more institutional and retail participation from the Korean market.
