Tools for Humanity has launched World Money, a self-custodial financial “super app” combining stablecoin payments, digital asset rewards, and trading, with a rollout beginning Thursday across more than 150 countries.

The app allows users to send supported digital assets to a recipient’s World username, deposit eligible assets to earn rewards, and buy and sell cryptocurrencies through integrated exchanges. It also provides access to third-party “Mini Apps” like Kalshi, Credit, and Morpho.

A partnership with Stripe enables users in the United States to fund accounts and purchase stablecoins using Apple Pay. The launch marks a formal split of the World ecosystem’s services, with the new World Money app handling wallet and financial features while a separate World ID App manages identity verification.

World Money is operated by Tools for Humanity, the company co-founded by Sam Altman and Alex Blania. Existing users of the World App and World ID App can access the new service with their current accounts.
