Corporate Bitcoin Demand Weakens With Just 5,900 BTC Added in Three Months

Corporate Bitcoin Demand — Corporate treasury demand for Bitcoin has slowed sharply, with publicly traded companies adding only about 5,900 BTC over the past three months, according to data from Glassnode.
The figure represents a significant deceleration from the pace of accumulation seen a year ago. MicroStrategy accounted for the bulk of the recent buying, including a late-August purchase of 4,603 BTC.
At current prices near $76,400, the total three-month accumulation is worth approximately $451 million. The average purchase price for corporate treasuries is estimated to be around $80,500, leaving many of these holdings underwater.
The data suggests a key pillar of institutional demand that supported the 2024-25 bull market remains tepid as Bitcoin attempts to stage a sustained price recovery.
