Morgan Creek CEO Yusko Says Bitcoin Is ‘On Sale’ at $75,000
Bitcoin is on sale — Morgan Creek Capital CEO Mark Yusko says Bitcoin is “on sale” at its current price and should be accumulated, citing a Metcalfe’s Law-based fair value of $105,000.
Speaking on Bitcoin Magazine TV on Wednesday, Yusko referenced a model run by analyst Tim Peterson, which calculates Bitcoin’s fair value based on network growth. With Bitcoin trading around $75,701 at the time, a significant discount from its October 2025 high of $126,080, Yusko framed the current level as a buying opportunity.
Yusko argued that Bitcoin, alongside gold, serves as a critical store of value, contrasting it with equities where he noted a high rate of corporate failure over long periods. He positioned the asset as a hedge against currency debasement.
The commentary comes amid a broader market discussion about a resurgence of the “debasement trade,” where investors seek assets perceived as hedges against fiat currency weakness, a dynamic that previously fueled Bitcoin’s rally.
