Bitcoin ETFs Attract $6.34 Billion in Q3 as BTC Gains 43%

Bitcoin ETFs — US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded approximately $6.34 billion in net inflows during the third quarter of 2026, marking their strongest quarter of the year as Bitcoin’s price surged.
According to data from SoSoValue, the quarterly flows reversed roughly $5 billion in net outflows from the second quarter. Bitcoin gained 42.71% in Q3, its best third-quarter performance since 2017 and its strongest quarterly gain since the final quarter of 2024.
The monthly inflow trend decelerated, with September seeing $2.65 billion in net inflows, down about 25% from August’s $3.52 billion. The quarter ended on a weaker note, with the ETFs recording net outflows of roughly $149 million on the final Wednesday of September, snapping a nine-day inflow streak.
Other cryptocurrency ETFs also saw significant activity. US spot Ether ETFs attracted about $3.05 billion in Q3, while funds tracking XRP, Solana, and Zcash recorded net inflows of $308 million, $272 million, and $246 million respectively during the period.
