Utexo Mint Opens Early Access for USDT on Bitcoin Ahead of November Launch

Utexo has opened early access to its Utexo Mint platform, allowing professional operators to begin testing integrations for USDT on Bitcoin ahead of a public launch scheduled for November 28.
The dedicated platform enables exchanges, wallets, and trading firms to test minting, confidential transfers, and redemption of USDT via the RGB protocol on Bitcoin. This testing period is designed to allow partners to finalize their integrations and be ready to offer the stablecoin when it goes live.
According to a press release, the return of USDT to the Bitcoin network aims to bring dollar liquidity into the ecosystem, opening new markets for trading and BTC-backed lending. The implementation on RGB is described as “private by design,” avoiding address reuse, with Utexo stating it will use AML monitoring tools from Crystal Intelligence.
The rollout is planned in two phases: public availability on the Bitcoin mainnet via RGB begins on November 28, with an extension to the Lightning Network for payments targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
