Pepenardo Creates Original Art on Bitcoin Magazine Covers

Bitcoin Magazine covers — Artist Pepenardo has transformed six copies of Bitcoin Magazine’s 2036 issue into unique artworks by drawing directly onto their covers, blending physical collectibles with Bitcoin’s cultural history.

The hand-illustrated covers feature characters from the artist’s visual universe, including the ‘Sleeping Knights’ previously exhibited and sold at Bitcoin 2026. Each altered magazine includes the artist’s signature and is paired with two one-of-one trading cards created for the collaboration.

The project builds on the artist’s prior success at Bitcoin conferences, where paintings like ‘THE DREAMER’ and ‘FAKEGENESIS’ sold for significant amounts of bitcoin, highlighting growing collector interest in art emerging from Bitcoin’s culture.

Bitcoin Magazine itself has a history as a collectible, with early signed issues and limited sets like the Genesis Box attracting significant value, a tradition these new artist-altered editions now extend.
