Franklin Templeton Adds $150 Million Fund Shares to XRP Ledger

Franklin Templeton adds — Franklin Templeton added approximately $150 million worth of shares of its tokenized money-market fund to the XRP Ledger on October 24, 2026, consolidating the entire network holding into a single wallet.
The two subscription transactions nearly quadrupled the fund’s token presence on the XRP Ledger, bringing the total to about 193 million shares valued at roughly $200 million. The fund, which invests in short-term U.S. dollar debt and money-market instruments, is represented on-chain by the sgBENJI token.
All sgBENJI tokens on the XRP Ledger are now held in one wallet that shares its eight authorized transaction signers with Franklin Templeton’s issuing account. This structure allows the asset manager to approve, freeze, or recover the holdings.
The move highlights continued institutional experimentation with public blockchains for tokenized assets. It remains unclear whether the single wallet represents one large investor or is aggregating holdings for multiple clients.
