Privy partners with Ripple to bring embedded wallets to XRP Ledger

embedded wallets — Ripple’s developer arm has partnered with Stripe-owned firm Privy to enable embedded crypto wallets for applications built on the XRP Ledger.

Through the partnership, developers can now integrate XRPL-native wallets directly into their applications using Privy’s infrastructure tools. This allows for streamlined user onboarding and in-app management of XRP Ledger assets.

The integration is designed to support transactions involving XRP, Ripple’s recently announced RLUSD stablecoin, x402 protocol payments, and payments to AI agents. The move aims to simplify user experience and reduce the friction typically associated with external wallet connections.

Privy, which was acquired by payments giant Stripe earlier this year, provides embedded wallet services. Its technology is already used by various Web3 applications to manage user keys and facilitate wallet creation directly within an app’s interface.
