Bitcoin ETFs See $1.28 Billion Outflow in Worst Week Since June

Bitcoin ETFs outflow — U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their worst week of net outflows since June 2026, with a total of $1.28 billion leaving the products and pushing aggregate flows for the year into negative territory.
Data from The Block shows the outflows were concentrated late in the week, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) alone accounting for $403 million, or 98%, of the outflows recorded on Friday. The industry-leading fund’s significant withdrawal contributed heavily to the weekly total, which marks a sharp reversal from earlier periods of sustained inflows.
The sustained selling pressure has now erased all net inflows for the year-to-date, flipping the 2026 cumulative flow metric into negative figures. This shift underscores a period of pronounced investor caution and profit-taking within the institutional Bitcoin vehicle market.
The scale of the outflows, not seen since June, suggests a potential shift in sentiment among ETF holders, though market participants will be watching closely to see if the trend persists in the coming sessions.
