Strive Posts $475M Net Income as Bitcoin Yield Hits 63.2%

Strive (ASST) reported $474.8 million in net income attributable to common stockholders for Q3 2026, driven by a $533.7 million unrealized gain on its digital asset holdings, as its bitcoin yield metric reached 63.2% year-to-date.
The company’s GAAP net income was $509.0 million, or $5.24 per diluted share. Operating revenue for the quarter was minimal at $2.7 million, indicating earnings were primarily from treasury mark-to-market gains. Chairman and CEO Matthew Cole attributed the common equity’s outperformance relative to Bitcoin to the company’s treasury management strategy.
Strive defines bitcoin yield as the percentage change in bitcoin per share over a period. The company posted an 18.5% yield for Q3 alone and acquired 8,136 bitcoin during the quarter at an average cost of approximately $78,885. Its holdings grew from 28,000 bitcoin on Sept. 30 to 43,124 by Oct. 30, funded largely through perpetual preferred offerings.
Despite the strong quarterly results and year-to-date performance, ASST stock closed at $20.59 on Thursday, down about 10% on the day and roughly 29% below its level from a year earlier. The company’s nine-month figures show a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $88.4 million, highlighting the concentration of profit in the single quarter’s mark-to-market line.
