Blockchain investigators have flagged two suspected theft incidents this week, including a potential $106 million loss from exchange accounts and a separate $786,000 drain from a Solana trading bot.

According to investigator ZachXBT, an unidentified entity in the European Union may have lost over $106 million from accounts at multiple cryptocurrency exchanges on Sunday. The suspected attacker reportedly withdrew funds in USDC and USDT, swapped them for Ether, used instant exchange services, and ultimately converted a portion into Monero via the Wagyu swap service.

ZachXBT identified 11 wallet addresses linked to the movement of funds and noted the pattern pointed away from a connection to North Korea‘s Lazarus Group. The affected entity and the specific exchanges involved have not been publicly named.

In a separate incident reported by pseudonymous monitoring account Onchain Lens, a wallet associated with ‘King,’ an automated arbitrage bot on Solana, may have lost approximately $786,000 on Monday. The funds were reportedly moved through several Solana wallets before being transferred to Ethereum via the cross-chain service Mayan. Onchain Lens suggested the rapid transfers indicated an attempt to conceal the funds’ origin and a potential wallet compromise.
