Curve Finance launches on Stellar blockchain in major non-EVM expansion

Curve Finance launches — Curve Finance, a leading decentralized exchange protocol, has launched natively on the Stellar mainnet, marking its first deployment outside the Ethereum Virtual Machine ecosystem.
The integration brings Curve’s automated market maker technology to Stellar’s network, which is known for its focus on cross-border payments and asset tokenization. This move expands Curve’s reach beyond EVM-compatible chains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon.
By deploying directly on Stellar, Curve aims to tap into the network’s existing liquidity and user base for assets like USDC, which has a significant presence on the blockchain. The protocol’s core stablecoin swapping functions will be available to Stellar users.
This expansion represents a strategic diversification for Curve, which has historically been anchored in the EVM landscape. The launch could facilitate greater interoperability between Stellar-based assets and the broader multi-chain DeFi ecosystem.
