Investor Jason Calacanis Predicts Bitcoin Will Fall to $57,000

Bitcoin will fall — Technology investor and podcast host Jason Calacanis has predicted bitcoin (BTC) will fall to $57,000 within the next year and urged investors to sell the cryptocurrency and pivot to artificial intelligence.
Calacanis cited waning investor enthusiasm and recent outflows from spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as signs that demand could continue to weaken. He stated that he believes the leading cryptocurrency will never set another all-time high.
The investor, who famously advised crypto founders to pivot to AI in 2023, made the call in a post on Tuesday. He remains invested in TAO, the native token of the decentralized AI network Bittensor, which rewards participants for providing computing and storage resources.
Calacanis’s bearish outlook contrasts with bitcoin’s current price near $84,500. His prediction hinges on a sustained shift in capital and investor interest away from crypto and toward the artificial intelligence sector.
