Bitcoin++ Announces Antarctica Cold Storage Edition Conference for 2028

Antarctica Cold Storage Edition — The bitcoin++ series will host its most remote developer conference yet, announcing Antarctica: Cold Storage Edition for January 2028.
The event pairs a technical unconference with a 13-day expedition ship journey departing from Ushuaia, Argentina, to explore the Antarctic Peninsula. Only 22 spots are available for the trip, which is scheduled from January 24 to February 5, 2028.
The conference format allows attendees to propose talks, demos, and discussions, with the ship providing Starlink connectivity and a private room for hackathons. The theme plays on the concept of Bitcoin cold storage, with organizers describing it as taking the conversation “somewhere colder.”
Fares range from $14,900 to $16,700 per person, with a 5% discount offered for payment in full using Bitcoin. The cost includes expedition parkas, which will also feature sponsor branding. The final payment is due October 1, 2027.
