DriveWealth adopts Ripple RLUSD stablecoin for European settlement and payments

Ripple RLUSD stablecoin — Digital brokerage DriveWealth has partnered with Ripple to integrate the upcoming RLUSD stablecoin into its operations, leveraging the XRP Ledger for settlement and cross-border payments in Europe.
DriveWealth will use RLUSD for settlement between its custodians and for collateral funding. The firm will also employ the stablecoin to streamline cross-border payments for its client base. The initial launch will focus on the European market.
The integration marks a significant real-world application for Ripple’s planned stablecoin and the XRP Ledger‘s infrastructure. DriveWealth, a U.S.-regulated brokerage platform that provides infrastructure for investment apps, holds licenses that facilitate its expansion into international markets.
This partnership represents a notable move to bring stablecoin utility into traditional brokerage and custody workflows. Ripple announced its plans to launch the U.S. dollar-pegged RLUSD earlier this year.
