Venture capitalist Tim Draper has argued it is financially and legally irresponsible for major corporations like Apple and Meta not to hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets.

Speaking on the Bitcoin Magazine Podcast, the Draper Associates founder suggested corporate boards could be exposed if a bank holding their cash reserves fails. He advocated that every business should hold at least four weeks of operating expenses in Bitcoin as a hedge.

Draper linked his stance to macroeconomic concerns, stating that unchecked government spending leaves only two outcomes: hyperinflation or interest rates high enough to destabilize the banking system. He positioned Bitcoin as a necessary safe harbor in this environment.

The billionaire investor also reiterated his $250,000 Bitcoin price target, mapping it to the supply shock expected from future halving events. He disclosed that his own investment fund is now entirely allocated to Bitcoin.
