Bit2Me launches specialized unit to help law enforcement track crypto

law enforcement track crypto — Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me has established a specialized unit to assist law enforcement agencies in tracking and seizing digital assets, formalizing its existing work in the field.

The new unit will build on the exchange’s previous operations, which in 2025 alone involved processing over 1.5 million euros in seized cryptocurrencies for various international agencies. Bit2Me has previously collaborated with major law enforcement bodies including Interpol and Europol.

This move institutionalizes the exchange’s role in supporting public security efforts, providing a dedicated structure for handling complex asset recovery and forensic analysis requests from authorities.

The establishment of the unit reflects a growing trend of crypto service providers developing formal compliance and investigative support frameworks to work alongside traditional law enforcement in the digital asset space.
