Bitcoin price target — TD Cowen Managing Director Lance Vitanza has projected Bitcoin could reach $132,000 by 2027, citing its evolution into a broader capital markets ecosystem.

In an interview with Bitcoin Magazine, Vitanza stated that institutional investors are no longer debating whether to own Bitcoin, but are focused on how to gain exposure. He explained that Bitcoin is developing beyond a standalone asset into an ecosystem encompassing common stock, preferred shares, bonds, and income products.

Vitanza’s comments followed the recent Bitcoin Treasuries conference in New York, where he observed a shift in institutional evaluation. Investors are increasingly analyzing Bitcoin within a portfolio context, assessing well-run Bitcoin treasury companies that could potentially outperform the underlying asset.

The analyst also discussed the importance of operating businesses in the space, naming entities like Strive, Metaplanet, and Nakamoto. He addressed potential risks, including the impact of index removal and blockchain surveillance, while maintaining a constructive long-term outlook on Bitcoin‘s integration into traditional finance.
