Bitcoin mining output rises for BitFuFu and CleanSpark in August

Bitcoin mining output — Bitcoin production rebounded for BitFuFu and edged higher for CleanSpark in August, while Canaan’s output declined, according to monthly operational updates from the miners.
BitFuFu mined 382 BTC in August, a 5.5% increase from July, while CleanSpark produced 643 BTC, a modest 1.4% rise. In contrast, Canaan’s production fell by 7.5% to 321 BTC for the month.
Separately, Canaan disclosed a significant treasury reallocation, selling its entire Ethereum position and 54 Bitcoin. The company stated it used part of the proceeds from these sales to repurchase 13.6 million of its own shares.
The moves highlight the varying operational performance among public miners and the continued strategic management of crypto-denominated corporate treasuries as market conditions evolve.
