Binance hack — Analysts from several major Wall Street firms are advising investors to buy crypto-related stocks, arguing that a recent $6.3 billion hack on Binance is unlikely to halt the broader market’s recovery.

In notes to clients, firms including Cantor Fitzgerald, TD Cowen, and Compass Point suggested the massive security breach should be viewed as a buying opportunity for equities tied to the digital asset sector. The analysts contend that the market has matured and can absorb such shocks without derailing its upward trajectory.

The hack, one of the largest in crypto history, targeted Binance’s cross-chain bridge, a protocol that facilitates transfers between different blockchains. Despite the scale of the theft, the analysts’ collective view is that the underlying fundamentals for crypto adoption remain strong.

This guidance reflects a growing sentiment among traditional finance observers that major crypto infrastructure events, while significant, may no longer pose a systemic threat to the entire asset class. The call to buy stocks, rather than direct crypto assets, indicates a continued path for institutional exposure through regulated equity markets.
