Blockstream Launches Institutional Bitcoin Consulting Services

Bitcoin consulting services — Bitcoin infrastructure firm Blockstream has launched a consulting service for financial institutions and opened a new European office in Lugano, Switzerland.

The new Blockstream Consulting Services division will support banks, asset managers, and other institutions through the evaluation, design, and implementation of Bitcoin-based financial infrastructure. The company said services will focus on solutions for tokenized asset issuance, confidential settlement, and related systems.

The Lugano office will serve as a hub for European operations, targeting clients in Switzerland’s financial centers like Zurich, Geneva, and Zug. The company cited Switzerland’s supportive regulatory framework for digital assets as a key reason for the expansion.

“The next phase of Bitcoin adoption is its integration into existing financial systems,” said Blockstream co-founder and CEO Adam Back. The consulting business will leverage the firm’s experience in cryptography, protocol engineering, and security to help institutions integrate Bitcoin into traditional infrastructure.
