Altcoins Outperform Bitcoin as Celestia Jumps 16%

Altcoins Outperform Bitcoin — Altcoins including Celestia and Injective posted significant gains on Wednesday, outpacing a largely flat bitcoin price as Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh offered no new signals on interest rates.

Celestia (TIA) led the advance with a 16% jump, while Injective (INJ) rose 7.7% and LayerZero (ZRO) added 7.3%. The broader CoinDesk 100 index of major digital assets showed more than two-thirds of its members in positive territory.

Bitcoin (BTC) held little changed near $82,100, having bounced from an intraday dip to around $81,600 earlier in the session. The price remains comfortably above the $80,000 level it briefly broke below last week.

The market moves came as Fed Chair Warsh declined to signal the central bank’s next move at its upcoming policy meeting. Following his remarks, market-implied odds of an interest-rate increase in October fell to about 15% from nearly 30% previously.
